Hi, my name is Lisa Philip. Welcome to my multimeda portfolio.

By day I work for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s OrchKids program, which offers music education to low-income students in West Baltimore. By other parts of the day I tell stories of the written, video and audio variety, which you’ll find under the “Writing,” “Video” and “Audio” tabs of this website. I’m currently a graduate journalism student at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and consider myself a radio producer-in-training.

I feel grateful to have found a career that combines my loves for sound, music and storytelling.

I have a rescue Basset Hound mix named Barry Maanilow who finds new positions to nap in every day. On weekends we, and my fiance Josh, visit nearby parks to enjoy some hiking, fresh air, and trees.
